Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned
First of all, what is sin?
It is actions that are taken against or out of line with Almighty Gods righteous requirements/ rules/ commands/ principles which are set out by our Creator to keep us safe and under his care.
Those who are a student of Almighty God’s Words of truth know that as humans we inherited sin and cannot say we do not or have not sinned.
Have we thought though of who can sin and what the implications are? Let us follow some spiritual and scriptural logic concerning that question.
Humans at this time sin, by default as it were, as we are born into sin and that is one of the main reasons why we need Christs sacrifice if we are to maintain a righteous standing before God, but righteous ones can still sin.
What about those who will inherit everlasting life?
Lets review the following:
Adam & Eve
They had everlasting life but sinned against God.
The Messengers or Angels of God.
They have everlasting life but can sin against God too. Think of the fallen angels in Noah’s time.
Having everlasting life does not mean one cannot sin.
Jehovah God our Creator
Obviously, He cannot sin.
Jesus Christ
Jesus too cannot sin once his Father bestowed incorruptible immortal life on him.
Those chosen by God to rule with Christ
In their current human form as those who do their utmost to maintain righteousness before God, the chosen ones can still sin.
When they receive their heavenly reward on Christs return, they then will not be able to sin as they become incorruptible. 1 Cor 15:53
